Stephen Nelson

Steve is a partner in Bedell Cristin's Cayman Islands Financial Services team, advising a wide range of clients on funds, corporate and financing matters.

He has broad corporate and regulatory applications expertise and regularly advises fund managers, PE structures, start-ups, listed technology companies and digital asset funds on the legal issues faced by them including registration and licensing with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“CIMA”), carrying out financings and restructurings and listing on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.

Steve works with a predominantly North American client base, with clients in California, New York and Canada.

He has practised in Canada, Kuwait and Singapore, and has been practising in the Cayman Islands since 2007.
