Richard advises asset managers and financial services providers on Jersey regulatory issues, and is an experienced funds lawyer.

He is recognised by both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 and specialises in establishing and advising investment funds and in all areas of financial services regulation, data protection, international tax compliance (including economic substance) and the island's AML / CFT regime.

Richard also has considerable experience in matters of corporate and commercial law.

He participates in local industry groups and regularly presents on matters of funds and financial services regulation.

Richard joined Bedell Cristin in 2007, having previously practised with another offshore law firm in Jersey.
