Marianne Russell

Marianne Russell is Head of Employment at Bedell Cristin, with a practice spanning contentious and non-contentious employment law matters under Jersey and Guernsey law.

She specialises in advising employers on strategy, employment law disputes, M&A integration and policies and procedures.

Marianne has experience working as a lawyer and within business, as a senior HR professional.  She practised onshore in the UK before moving to Jersey in 2017, where she worked at a local law firm and in-house at a regulated financial services business in Jersey and Guernsey.  She was formerly a group partner in another offshore firm.

Marianne has represented clients in employment and discrimination tribunal proceedings claims relating to unfair dismissal and discrimination in the UK and Channel Islands and, as an accredited mediator, she can assist with alternative approaches to conflict resolution.
