Amber joined Bedell Cristin in May 2022 as a Paralegal within the International Private Client (IPC) department. In September 2023, Amber commenced an 18-month Articled Clerk training contract, which compromises of undertaking "seats" across the firm's practices to become an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands.
During her time as a paralegal, Amber assisted with an array of private client services for high-net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals/families with matters pertaining to wills, trusts, probate, and administration of estates, immigration, and residency.
Prior to joining Bedell Cristin, Amber formed part of the Corporate Secretarial team of the Maples Group, where she acted as a main point of contact for Investment Managers, Directors, and service providers. Amber provided a variety of services to Investment Funds, Holding Companies and SPV's, such as coordinating Board meetings (FS approval, quarterly/bi-annual/annual/ad-hoc) and requesting/collating meeting materials. In addition to maintaining several extensive portfolios, Amber also attended and prepared the minutes of the Board meeting. To maintain good governance, Amber assisted with the filing of minutes, written resolutions, and any other post-meeting documents with the fund's Registered Office.
Additionally, Amber was on the Director Registration/De-Registration committee where she assisted with the annual registration/de-registration of registered and professional Directors with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
