Kate Ovenden and Richard Sharp will be attending the 10th annual Guernsey Funds Forum at 155 Bishopsgate, London on Thursday 16 May 2019.
The conference which is titled 'Restart' will explore the narrative for the future and how Guernsey can be the ideal location for investment funds in 2020 and beyond.
The key themes for the afternoon conference will be 'Green & Sustainable Finance' and 'Structuring Private Capital'.
The Keynote speaker is Sir Roger Gifford, Chairman – UK Green Finance Initiative and UK Head of SEB and the event will be moderated by Daisy McAndrew.
Following Guernsey's launch of the world's first regulated Green Fund product in July 2018, the first London-listed investment company has recently achieved Guernsey Green Fund accreditation.
The rationale of the Guernsey Green Fund rules is to provide a trusted and transparent platform to give investors confidence in green products to help funnel capital to the investments needed to meet the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change targets.
The Guernsey Funds Forum, now in its 10th year, regularly attracts over 500 participants and provides excellent networking opportunities during the course of the afternoon. Please click here for further information.
