Bedell Cristin Guernsey, working with English counsel Eversheds LLP, acted as Guernsey legal advisers on behalf of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) in connection with the financing of Asian Growth Properties' acquisition of 20 Moorgate in London.
HSBC provided a £100 million five-year loan facility to enable Asian Growth Properties to purchase the entire issued units in the trust that owns the EC2 property from Deutsche Fonds Holding AG. Asian Growth Properties are renowned for purchasing and developing offices, retail and residential properties in mainland China and Hong Kong.
