From its inception, the Jersey foundation has proved a popular choice for philanthropy, with approximately one-third of the foundations formed in the island having philanthropic objects or purposes. Recognizing how personal and individualistic decisions in relation to philanthropy can be, Jersey is well placed to help philanthropists make the difference that they want to make, in the way that they want to make it. The Foundations Law and the Charities Law combine to offer a broad range of choices (within a stable, reputable, experienced and accessible jurisdiction), allowing for solutions tailored to achieve individual objectives.
